Genesis Mexican Restaurant absolutely exceeded my expectations. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcomed and taken care of. The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out fast. You can tell they actually care about quality and consistency. The fajitas were sizzling, the salsa had the perfect kick, and the portions were more than worth the price. What really stood out was the customer service. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made the experience feel personal instead of rushed. Iris was especially amazing and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Her attitude, attention to detail, and hospitality truly made the experience even better. The atmosphere was clean, comfortable, and perfect whether you’re going with family, friends, or for a casual lunch. It’s hard to find a restaurant that nails both great food and great service consistently, but Genesis definitely does. This has easily become one of my favorite Mexican restaurants around and I’ll absolutely be back. Highly recommend.
The waitress was great but the food was horrible! There was no flavor whatsoever so ever! I literally gagged on my steak quesadilla the meat had no seasoning and had a wangy taste! The salsa was super hot but the flavor was amazing! The guacamole was just plain puréed avocado and that was it no onions, tomatoes nada. The refried beans were simply puréed beans with no flavor at all! The steak in the quesadillas had no flavor except for a weird twang! The quesadillas with beans and rice was $15.99. Will not go back. The family beside us got up and paid and Leeds after one bite! So disappointed. So if you go just have tortillas and salsa 🙄
After trade day, stopped in to get some food. Soda syrup is either bad, the lines are dirty, or the water is impure. Waitress was not super in tune with the order taking. Diet coke was out during the busiest weekend of town. I won't eat here again as I value my time and money.
